The natural active principles



Calendula (Calendula Officinalis) has emollient, soothing, cleansing, refreshing and antiseptic properties.

It is especially suited for cleansing children's skin which is tendentially dry and sensitive, it easily gets red and irritated. The products with Calendula extract, with healing and soothing propertise, reduce in fact inflammation and heal damaged or irritated tissue.




Extract of oats (Avena Sativa Kernel Extract) is  suited for the children's sensitive skin, which is prone to redness.

It performes a moisturizing, emollient, protective, soothing effect and protects the skin pH. All these functions are particularly important for newborn's skin which is tendentially dry. Il helps moreover to maintain optimal hydration of the child's skin, preventing the loss of water thanks to the protective barrier created by its proteins. 




Glycerine is a thick liquid of vegetable origin, colourless with a sweet taste which is found naturally in the vital layers of the epidermis.

The supply of glycerin is essential for physiological skin hydration, stops skin peeling and facilitates the regeneration of the skin barrier. These features together with the easy application and the smoothness on the skin, make it ideal for the delicate skin of a baby.


Zinc Oxide:

Zinc is a mineral found in all cells of our body and is essential for the development of the skin, or the synthesis of collagen, enabling rapid healing of wounds.

It works by protecting the skin from water loss and forming a protective barrier against irritants.  It's ideal for the sensible and delicate skin, especially in the nappy area, because It is also soothing, protective and helps maintain skin hydration. A prodct containing Zinc Oxide protects then from reddening and irritations (dermatitis).



Aloe Vera:

Aloe vera (Aloe Barbadensis Miller), hanks to its anti-inflammatory, regenerating and hydrating properties, it acts against aging and encourages the regeneration of skin cells, promoting the health of tissues and accelerating healing in the case of wounds or abrasions.

It is an outstanding hydrating agent for the skin: encourages deep hydration of the skin and creates a barrier than prevents the sking from losing water.

That's why it's perfect for nourishing the baby's skin, wich is notoriously dry, sensitive and fragile; it's ideal after a bath or for a relaxing baby massage.




Camomile has many therapeutic and healing properties and is well-known for its calming effect. In cosmetics, flavonoids, abundantly present in its extracts, have an anti-inflammatory effect and are able to penetrate to the deepest layers of the skin.

Chamomile also has an antioxidant effect, promoting the formation of collagen, elastic fibres and hyaluronic acid.

It has remarkable soothing and refreshing properties and, thanks to its high skin tolerance, it is particularly suitable for sensitive, delicate skin like children’s skin.



Sweet almond milk:

Sweet almond oil is known for its nourishing, emollient and soothing properties. That's why it is suitable for the delicate and tendentially dry skin of newborn babies. Almond oil is well tolerated by even the most delicate skin and is absorbed easily; it softens irritated or inflamed skin and gives the skin suppleness and softness. 


Vitamin E:

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin (i.e. it is soluble in fats) which is found primarily in cold-pressed vegetable oils, in all whole raw seeds, in nuts and in soya.

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and inhibits the formation of free radicals.

Protects the child's skin and keeps it smooth and soft because it reduces the water loss and preserves the skin's moisture. 


Rice bran oil:

Rice bran oil is currently used for both food and cosmetics. It is obtained through a process of cold pressing, which guarantees the preservation of its natural properties. Thanks to the balanced presence of oleic acid, linoleic acid, palmitic acid and vitamin E, it makes it possible to neutralize free radicals and has an effective antioxidant effect. It contains omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, important in order to restore the hydrolipidic barrier that is impaired in dry skin, and it is therefore ideal for dry skin like baby skin.

It has an emollient, moisturizing and smoothing effect on the skin. Due to its high compatibility with the skin, it is particularly suitable for treating sensitive skin, it has also significant protective properties against sunlight: this is why it is used in products for children. 



Cocoa Butter:

Seeds are taken from the fruits of the cacao tree (Theobroma cacao) and are then squeezed to produce cocoa butter. Characterized by a high content of saturated fatty acids, cocoa butter provides a unique emollient and lubricant effect on the skin. It's an excellent ingredient used for protecting and nourishing the dry and sensitive skin of the baby, in particular if exposed to irritation, to make it soft and moisturised. At room temperature, cocoa butter is able to maintain its compactness, while it melts at body temperature this allows its easy application of the skin, nourishing it in an effective way, without upsetting the baby.
